INTRODUCTION
The #ET9107 Electric Brake Force Meter with Dynamic Load Simulation and Circuit Testing is a professional,
high-quality tool that allows you to test the electric brake controller output and all tow-lighting functions
without a trailer present.
The #ET9107 Electric Brake Force Meter is designed to work with most all vehicle and aftermarket controllers,
manufactured up to July 1, 2015. Modules will be made available as updates are released from the OEM's. For

WARRANTY
We warrant that this tool shall be free from manufacturing defects for a period of ONE YEAR from the original
purchase date. Our obligation to the original purchaser shall be limited to repairing or replacing, at our expense
(not including shipping charges) a defective tool if returned by the original purchaser within one year from the
date of purchase, all incoming shipping charges prepaid. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER DEFECTS OR
DAMAGES TO THE TOOL (i) after the warranty period expires; (ii) resulting from misuse or abnormal operation;
(iii) resulting from a failure to maintain or operate the tool; or (iv) resulting from any repair or maintenance
services performed by any party other than Mac Tools.

SAFETY INFORMATION

Before testing, it's important to note that there are several different methods utilized by OEMs for establishing
connections to trailers and automatically adjusting gain. In most cases, each vehicle OEM takes their own
approach to the design and function of Electric Trailer Brake Controllers. Additionally, the OEM's methods have
evolved over the years. Never assume that any two makes or different year ranges will act the same way. For
example, some controllers limit output gain unless the vehicle is moving. Others limit output gain unless the
vehicle's sensors detect heavy braking under load while moving. Others allow full output for a short period of
time and then limit the output until the vehicle is moving. The purpose of this tool is to allow you to view the
output of the vehicle, in real time, without a trailer present.
