Rotary field check (> 200 V AC)**
Fully grip handles L1 and L2 below the physical
marking.
Hold test probes L1 and L2 against two phase
conductors and check whether the phase
voltage of e.g. 400 V is present.
3 A clockwise rotating field (phase L1 before phase
L2) is indicated when the "R" LED lights up.
3 An anti-clockwise rotating field (phase L2 before
phase L1) is indicated when the "L" LED lights up.
The rotary field check must always be repeated with
reversed test probes. This must cause the direction of
rotation to change.
Note
The rotary field check can be
performed above 200 V, 50/60 Hz
(phase relative to phase) in the earthed
3-phase AC grid.
Single-handed check
The two hand parts can be locked together using the
spacer located on the measuring line.
The distance between the measuring tips can be
adjusted simply by turning. (Schuko socket/CEE)
Continuity test
Place the test probes against the lead, fuse, etc.
to be tested.
RCD trigger test**
The Elmo® DUO PLUS Voltage tester has a load
which allows an RCD circuit breaker to be tripped
using two buttons (RCD). The RCD (max. 30 mA) is
tested between phase and the protective conductor
(max. 240 V).
Backlighting
Display backlighting is permanently activated.
