Fitting and setting parallel stop (Fig. 4)
For cutting wooden parts lengthwise the
parallel stop (12) must be used.
1. Slide the clamping bar (7) over to the
left of saw blade (1).
2. Select the work guide surface on the
parallel stop (12) and slide the parallel
stop (12) over to the front edge of the
saw bench.
3. With the aid of the scale on the saw
bench the stop (12) can be set to the
desired size.
4. Tighten the knurled screws on the
clamping bar (7).
5. If required, insert the angle stop (13)
in the parallel stop (Fig. 5) and
proceed as set out in 5.
Setting cut angle (Fig. 6)
Continuously adjustable for angle cuts
from 0/90° to 45°.
To set the angle, loosen both knurled
screws (16) and swing the saw bench (1)
into the required angled position. The
angle can be read off the scale (18) at
the angle marking (17). Tighten the
knurled screws (16) again.
Adjust angle setting (Fig. 7)
Adjust the saw blade to the exact setting
0/90° with the help of suitable means
(such as set square or joiner's angle).
Check the adjusted angle with the help
of the angle scale, if necessary, undo
screw of angle mark (17), turn the
pointer to 0/90° and tighten up the
screw again. Regular checking will
increase the accuracy of the cut.

Before starting the saw up
• The saw bench must be set up on a
stable base, that is, a workbench, or
screwed down to a firm underframe.
• Before starting up all covers and safety
equipment must be correctly fitted.
• The saw blade must be able to rotate
freely.
• When working with wood which has
already been processed, be careful of
e.g. nails or screws, cracks or joints,
etc.
• Before operating the On/Off switch,
make sure that the saw blade is
correctly mounted and moving parts
can move easily.
• Before connecting up the saw bench to
the mains make sure that the data on
the rating plate match those of the
mains supply.
Starting and stopping the saw (Fig. 8)
Insert the plug into a socket with a
safety contact. This must be protected
with a fuse e.g. in the terminal box. If an
