- SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
2.1 General precautions
Always use adequate clothing as called for by the job. Wear tight clothing. Do not wear ties, necklaces or belts
which may get caught in moving parts. Use a helmet, safety shoes and gloves.
Do not operate, service or repair the equipment if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs which can
impair your alertness or co-ordination.
Only well trained and qualified personnel should use the equipment.
Keep children and animals away from the equipment.
Do not alter the pilot valve/unloader, the safety valve and the air tank.
The user is responsible for injuries caused to the bystanders and damages to the equipment.
Use the machine only for the jobs described in "Product Description". This machine, if used improperly, may be
dangerous.
When carrying out maintenance work on compressor blocks, use high temperature protective gloves.
2.2 Lifting procedures
•
Make sure the lifting equipment has an adequate capacity and is in good working order (for the machine weight, refer to
"Specifications").
•
Never stand or pass under the machine while it is being lifted or handled.
•
Use forks which are long and wide enough so as to prevent the load from overturning.
2.3 Installation
•
Unless you are well trained and authorised, do not use or make adjustments to the instruments and control devices the
machine is provided with.
•
Make sure the compressor is securely attached to the tractor before starting work (see the paragraph on "installation").
IMPORTANT!
The packing materials must be disposed of carefully in compliance with current environment protection regulations.
2.4 Use
•
When using the machine, the slope inclination shall not be superior to 20%, as it may cause the engine and compressor
break.
•
Carefully read the safety instructions on the compressor.
•
Do not touch the head block (17) and the copper hose (20) of the compressor as these parts reach a very high temperature
during operation and keep hot for a long time after stopping the machine.
•
Do not leave flammable materials or nylon on or near the compressor.
NOTE
At the end of every working day, always empty the air tank (chapter 5.1.2).
