Notes:
- Use the battery pack and desktop charger recommended by manufacturer.
- Don´t drops the battery pack.
- Don´t short-circuits the battery terminals.
- Don´t exposes the battery pack to the fire.
- Do not disassemble.
- Charge the battery pack in an environment with a temperature range between 5ºC
and 40ºC. Charging outside this range may not fully charge the battery.
- Don´t charges the battery pack for a long time; the battery life will be shortened.
Remove the battery from the desktop charger when the charging is finished.
- Do not use the radio while charging the battery pack. We suggest turn OFF the
radio while charging process.
- While charging, we recommend that you not remove the battery pack from the
desktop charger or shut OFF the power supply from the charger so as not to
interfere with the charging process.
- It is normal for the battery pack to warm up slightly during the charging process.
- Do not charge the battery if it is fully charged, otherwise the battery life will
shorten or damaged.
- Do not charge if the battery or the radio is wet. First clean with dry cloth before
charging.
- When the battery operating time decreases considerably, after being fully
charged, replace it with a new one of the same characteristics as the one supplied
with the radio.
- Avoid contact of the battery terminals with metallic objects to avoid short-circuit
that can cause battery damages, personal injury or to the objects damages. Take
special cautions if you store the battery anywhere with metallic objects.
- Store the fully charged battery in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight.
6.- CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK:
When the radio indicates that the battery is low, proceed to charge it.
Charging procedure:
Battery charger with external AC/DC adapter:
1. Connect the AC/DC adapter to a wall socket that supplies the same voltage
indicated on its characteristics label and connect it to the desktop battery
charger.
2. Place the battery pack or the battery pack with the radio in to charger slot. Make
sure the battery contacts have appropriate connection with the charger's
charging terminals.
3. After the full charge is complete, remove the battery pack or the radio with its
battery from the desktop charger slot.
Battery charger with internal power supply:
1. Connect the battery desktop charger to a socket that supplies the same voltage
indicated on its characteristics label and follow the procedure described in above
2 and 3 points.
