• Never operate an electrical device if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working
properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water.
• Keep the mains adapter away from heated surfaces.
• Make sure the voltage of the mains adapter is compatible with the power source.
• Only use the mains adapter that comes with the Pump In Style Advanced Breastpump.
• Plug the mains adapter into Pump In Style Breastpump first and then into wall socket.
• The product should never be left unattended when plugged into a power source.
• Check pump kit components for wear or damage.
• Use Medela original accessories only.
• Use the product only for its intended use as described in this instruction manual.
• Supervision is necessary when this product is used in the vicinity of children.
• If problems or pain occur, consult your lactation consultant or physician.
• Equipment not suitable for use in the presence of a flammable anaesthetic mixture
with air or with oxygen or nitrous oxide.
• Portable and mobile radio frequency communications equipment can affect the
Pump In Style Advanced Breastpump.
• The Pump In Style Advanced Breastpump needs special precautions regarding
EMC (Electromagnetic compatibility) and needs to be installed and put into service
according to the EMC information provided in these instructions for use.

Make sure breastshield and connector
are securely attached.
Snap membranes onto valves until
membranes lie completely flat.
Push assembled valve and membrane
onto breastshield. Ensure sidewise
position of valve as indicated on picture.
