● Check the condition of the capsizing relay, sole-
noid valve and alternator, as well as their wiring,
connectors and terminations.
● Undo the seals on the starter motor drainage
(see figure C) to drain off any condensation. Re-
seal the drainage again.
Every 1200th hour / At least once every 5 years:
● Replace drive belt. See the instructions for re-
placement of drive belt in the operator's manual
for D4/D6.
Note! The table below shows which belts shall
be used for SOLAS-D4/D6.
IMPORTANT! The tightening torque differs from
the value given the operator's manual for
D4/D6. Tightening torque for SOLAS-D4/D6
is 45 ± 5 Nm (33.2 ± 3.7 lbf ft). Please refer to
figure B.
