Using the installation assistant

The INSTALLATION ASSISTANT covers the fol-
lowing points, among others:

Settings for updates and backups
–
Establishing a network connection via WiFi,
Ethernet or PLC connection

Linking the energy manager to a user profile
(Porsche ID)
–
Entering tariff information for the "Cost-op-
timised charging" function
–
Prioritising and managing charging pro-
cesses if using several chargers
– Enabling and disabling functions, such as
Overload protection, Own consumption op-
timisation and Cost-optimised charging
Information
In the Web Application, only disable the hotspot con-
nection if a connection to a home network is possible.

Configure home installation.
HOME INSTALLATION covers the following
points, among others:
– Configuring the energy manager for the
power grid, power sources, current sensors
and current consumers
– Adding an EEBus device
Adding an EEBus device
To ensure the energy manager functions correctly,
it is vital to connect it to an EEBus device, such
as the Porsche charger. If the energy manager and
EEBus device are in the same network, they can be
connected to one another.

same network with a strong enough signal
(home network or direct connection).
1. To start connection, go to Home installation
e Current consumer and click on Add EEBus
device.
�� Available EEBus devices are displayed.
2. Select the EEBus device by its name and ID
number (SKI).
3. Assign the phases to the EEBus device by stating
the current sensors.
4. Start connection on the charger.
5. You will know that connection was successful
and the energy manager's functions can be used
when a symbol displays EEBus connection via
the charger.

Checking function

Using the Web Application, make sure the en-
ergy manager is functioning correctly. For this
purpose, check that plausible values are shown
for power sources and consumers in the OVER-
VIEW.
