Note
•
Stop the sewing machine before adjusting the zigzag
width.
•
Raise the needle above the material when adjusting the
zigzag width. If the zigzag width is adjusted while the
needle is piercing the material, the needle may bend.
The numbers on the scale of the decorative plate q indi-
cate the zigzag width in mm.
Move the zigzag lever w to the left or right to align the
indicator mark with the desired number.
* The scale should be used as a guide only. The width of
the finished zigzag seam may vary depending on the
type and thickness of the material. Adjust while view-
ing the finished width.

•
Zum Einstellen der Zickzackbreite muß die Nähmaschi-
ne gestoppt werden.
•
Heben Sie zum Einstellen der Zickzackbreite die Nadel
aus dem Nähgut hoch. Wird die Einstellung der
Zickzackbreite bei abgesenkter Nadel vorgenommen,
kann sich die Nadel verbiegen.
Die Nummern auf der Skala der Platte q geben die
Zickzackbreite in mm an.
Stellen Sie den Zickzackhebel w nach links oder rechts auf
die Markierung für die gewünschte Zahl ein.
* Die Skala darf nur als Richtwert verwendet werden. Die
Breite der Zickzacknaht kann von der Art und der Dicke
des Nähguts abhängig sein. Führen Sie die Einstellung
anhand der genähten Stiche aus.
