5.4 - CLEANING THE SUCTION
FILTER (FIG. M)
The air filter (13) is a protection
component in the compressor's air
admission. It avoids the dust suction,
dirtiness and other elements that
may distort the good performance
of the compressor. It must be clean
regularly. A clogged suction filter
reduces considerably the compressor's
compressed air production.
1. Untighten both hexagonal screws and
remove the filter cover;
2. Remove the filter element and blow it
with compressed air (<3 bar pressure)
until it gets completely clean;
3. Place the filter and assemble the
remaining components in the reverse
order of disassembly;
Using the air filter doesn't
guarantee the quality of the air
produced by the compressor. This air
isn't suitable for human consumption.
5.5 - CLEANING AND STORAGE
Cleaning
After each use clean every components
of the compressor. Rub the machine
with a clean and damp cloth or blow
it with low pressure compressed air. A
careful handling protects the equipment
and extends its lifespan.
Keep the compressor and its ventilation
openings unobstructed. Clean them
regularly to avoid clogs.
Storage
To avoid unwanted starts, unplug the
power cord, empty the compressed air
tank and remove every compressed air
tools connected to the compressor.
When the compressor isn't being used,
it shall be kept inside a dry place,
corrosive steam free and away from
38
children's reach.

2012/19
/CE
on
electrical
electronic equipment waste and its
transposition into national law, power
tools must be collected separately
and delivered to the collection sites
provided for this purpose.
Wastes such as used oil, lubricant,
filters
and
worn
parts
dangerous to humans, animals and the
