Assembly and initial use
7.
7.1. Location
Place the machine in an area where the openings for the cooling air are not obstructed (forced circulation with fan);
check that expelled, corrosive dust, vapors, humidity, etc., are not in contact with the machine.
7.2. Connection to the electric grid
Before making any electrical connection, verify that the technical information (on the rear panel of the
machine) corresponds to the voltage and frequency of the electrical network at the installation site.
Power cord: It is normally equipped with a three pole L (blue), N (brown) and Earth (green) cable.
Therefore, they can be connected to a grounded outlet at your own risk.
Make sure that the electrical network is protected with an automatic differential type overcurrent
switch up to 60 A, for the correct network capacity (current / power fuse capacity), refer to the data
on the nameplate located in the welder and in this manual.
Failure to comply with the aforementioned rules renders the manufacturer's
installed safety system (class 1) inefficient, which can lead to personal risks
7.3. Connecting the welding cables
ALL CONNECTIONS TO THE WELDING CIRCUIT MUST BE TRANSPORTED TOGETHER WITH THE MACHINE
ALWAYS DISCONNECTED.
Note: It is necessary to use an electrode holder that complies with the NMX-J-038/11-ANCE standard. Use a
helmet in accordance with regulations and that has protective glasses in accordance with regulations, the level
of protection (shade) must be at least 9-10. There should be a slag hammer and wire brush. Before assembling
make sure that the power switch is turned off and that the power socket of the equipment is disconnected.
such as electric shocks or fire.
