Voltage switch (Supplied with DV models)
The machine is equipped with an electronic system that
makes it possible to use 115V or 230V at 60 Hz.
CAUTION! The motor must be off and the
!
current supply to the machine must be
cut when setting it to 115V or 230V. Make
sure the outlet voltage corresponds to
one of the two alternatives available on
the machine. Cutting ability can be
affected and fuses blown or overload
protection triggered if this setting is
incorrect.
The switch is on the side of the motor and has two
positions.
•
Make sure the voltages on the machine and in the
outlet are in agreement. Change the setting on the
machine if they are not the same.
•
Loosen the cover. Put the control to the desired
position and screw back the cover to avoid inadvertent
changes to the control.
Cutting
Mitre cutting
WARNING! Loosen the depth setting lock
!
and raise the blade before it is angled.
The cutting arm can be angled in two positions, 45° (stop)
and 22.5° (marking).
The stop depth does not need changing as it is adjusted
automatically when angled.
•
Loosen the lock knob for the depth setting and raise
the blade.
•
Loosen the lock knob for miter cutting and set the
required angle.
16 – English
OPERATING
- 45° ° ° ° : Angle the cutting arm until the head of the screw
touches the plate. Lock the knob.
- 22.5° ° ° ° : Angle the cutting arm until the markings are
opposite each other. Lock the knob.
Plunge cutting
The cutting arm is spring loaded and adjustable up and
down.
•
Loosen the lock knob for the depth setting and raise
the blade.
•
With the handle on the cutting arm the cutting blade
can adjusts up and down and create a plunge cut in
the work piece.
Dust handling/Cooling
The water system circuit is used to reduce dust and to
cool the blade. It is designed to cool and reduce dust with
a small amount of water and thereby provide a dryer
result on the material being cut. The water from the water
pump under the conveyor cart is distributed to the blade.
