11. CLEANING
Pull out the plug before cleaning!
The motor unit must never be submerged in, or sprayed with water
or any other liquid! Never attempt to clean it with a water jet!
If necessary, clean the motor unit with a damp cloth.
Danger!
Thorougly clean the machine after use every time. Incorrect and careless
cleaning could put the consumer at considerable risk of micro-organism
infection.
Container: The mixing container should not be cleaned in the dishwasher while still
installed. They must first be dismantled. The container should be cleaned thoroughly
after each use or once a day.
Bowl:Can be cleaned in the dishwasher or clean by hand using hot water and a com-
mercial cleaning product. The gentlest method of cleaning is by hand using a commercial
household washing-up liquid. Never remove scale mechanically (Causes scratches!)
When washing in a dishwasher it is essential to ensure that the plastic parts are removed
and during washing are not mechanically loaded. (e.g. by coming into physical contact
with other parts). Use a special rinse aid for plastics (Polymer)! The exact concentrations
and settings advised by the dishwasher manufacturer must be strictly adhered to. (Before
polish drying the parts all contaminates and remains of the cleaning solutions must be
removed). Otherwise there is the danger of splits or dulling occurring.
Use in the dishwasher a special rinse for plastics
and adhere strictly to the recommended concentration!
Cutter assembly: simply rinse and, if necessary, scrub off. Never place
into water or the dishwasher.
Threaded ring: should be cleaned especially inside, by using a hard brush.
Sound enclousure: simply rinse. Never wash into the dishwasher.
12. MAINTENANCE
- The motor bearings are permanently lubricated and therefore require no maintenance.
- The cutter head bearing is heavily loaded. Replace cutter head when loose or becomes
noisy.
