Function and application
When compressed air is applied to the cylinder chambers in alternate sequence,
the piston moves backwards and forwards in the profile tubing. By means of a rigid
connection to the piston, the slide also moves. The slot in the cylinder barrel re
quired for this is covered by a sealing band system. The slide runs around a re
circulating ball bearing guide which permits accurate movement of the slide. The
measuring system enables the position of the slide to be ascertained clearly at any
time.
This linear drive DGCI has been designed for
the pneumatic positioning of masses. It is
permitted for the slide operating mode.
The measuring system with CAN axis interface
is suitable for use with:
the end position controller SPC11−MTS−AIF−2 (Soft Stop)
the axis controller SPC200 with axis interface SPC−AIF−MTS−2
the end position controller CMPX
the positioning controller CMAX.

Transport and storage
Please note
S Avoid touching the guide rail with your hands during transport und storage.
Otherwise the layer of grease will be damaged.
Take the weight of the DGCI into consideration.

Depending on the design, the DGCI can weigh over 72 kg.
Ensure storage conditions as follows:
S
short storage periods
cool, dry, shaded storage locations
protected from corrosion.
no influence from magnetic fields
