*1. Securing the "Toolless" wheel nut
WARNING
Do not use with any wheel nut other than a genuine
"Toolless" wheel nut.
–
Lock the spindle and press the push button.
–
Position the "Toolless" wheel nut on the spindle so that
the 2 lugs engage in the 2 grooves on the spindle.
–
Tighten the "Toolless" wheel nut by turning clockwise by
hand.
–
Turn the grinding wheel fi rmly clockwise to tighten the
"Toolless" wheel nut.
*2. Releasing the "Toolless" wheel nut
WARNING
Only when the "Toolless" wheel nut is attached must the
spindle be stopped. Do so as follows:
–
The machine continues to run after switching off .
–
Press in the push button just before the grinding disc
stops. The "Toolless" wheel nut loosens itself by around
half a turn and can be removed without additional eff ort
or tools.
*3. Rotate gear housing
–
Disconnect from the power supply.
–
Unscrew the fastening screw (a) of the lever.
Remove the screw, lever (with its sheet metal part) and
put a side.
–
Unscrew the 4 gear housing screws (b).

CAUTION
Do not remove the gear housing.

Turn the gear housing to the desired position without
removing it.

Screw in the 4 gear housing screws (b) in the available

threads! Tightening torque = 3.0 N∙m +/-0.3 N∙m.

Slide the spring that pushes the lever in position to the
side and re-insert the lever (with its sheet metal part),

and fi x with the fastening screw (a).
Tightening torque = 5.0 N∙m +/-0.5 N∙m. Check the lever

for correct function: it has to be under spring tension.

1. For G13BY/G13YG:

The electronic signal display lights up and the
load speed decreases. There is too much load on the

machine! Run the machine in idling until the electronics
159
signal indicator switches off .
2. The machine does not start. The electronic signal
160
indicator (depends on model) fl ashes. The restart
protection is active. If the mains plug is inserted with the
machine switched on, or if the power supply is restored
following an interruption, the machine does not start up.
Switch the machine off and on again.

Use only accessories which fulfi l the requirements and
specifi cations listed in these operating instructions.
1. Cutting guard clip / guard for cut-off grinding
Designed for work with cutting disc and diamond cutting
discs. Once the cutting guard clip is fi tted, the wheel
guard becomes a cutting guard.
2. Dust fi lter
The fi ne mesh fi lter prevents coarse particles from
entering the motor housing.
After use, detach the fi Iter and remove any grime or dust
from the screen with an airgun or other tool.
NOTE
○ To clear the unit of grime or dust, periodically run
the motor in a no-load state and blow dry air into the
ventilation hole with the fi Iter removed.
Accumulation of grime or dust accumulates in the motor
can cause damage.
