7 – Installation and setting
Preselecting the oscillation speed
(Figs. 1 and 2)
The machine is provided with an
electronic control system for
preselecting the oscillation speed
to suit the material. For this, set the
adjusting wheel (7) to a position
between 1 (minimum speed for e.g.
light initial sanding) and 6 (maximum
speed).
For non-binding recommendations for
adjusting the tool, see Fig. 2.
Insert Abrasive Sheets
CAUTION! Switch off machine.
Pull out the mains plug.
The rubber backing pad is Velcro faced.
This system enables new sandpaper to
be attached quickly and without using a
clamping fixture. Before attaching new
sandpaper, clean the connection link of
the rubber backing pad.
Place sanding sheets tightly over the
sanding pad (4), making sure that the
holes (3) of pad and sandpaper
correspond (fig. 3)
To achieve more even wear on the
sandpaper, the sanding plate can be
turned. To do this, lift the sanding plate
in the direction of the arrow, turn it 120°
to the right or left and allow it to engage
in the new working position.
To use the sanding finger (8), loosen the
three retaining screws and remove the
sanding plate (4). Fit sanding finger,
using the three retaining screws (Fig. 4).
Press sandpaper strip firmly onto
sanding finger.
