ATTENTION! When the sanding
finger is used, dust extraction
through the sanding plates is not
possible! Therefore always wear a
breathing mask to avoid damaging
your health!
8 – Operation
Start-up Operation
The machine must be switched off, the
ON/OFF switch must be pressed into
position "0" (= OFF). The speed control
must be at the right stop, so that the
digit "1" is visible.
Switching on
Press the ON/OFF switch "I" (= ON). The
machine starts at the minimum speed.
Speed-control
By turning the speed control, the
desired speeds can be set infinitely
between "1" and "Max." within the
specified speed range.
Stopping
Set speed control back to "1" and press
the ON/OFF switch into position „0"
(= OFF).
9 – Mode of operation
Sanding
Turn on machine and deduster. Move
grinding surface over the material to be
ground/sanded with sightly elliptical
movements. Do not apply any additional
pressure, the weight of the machine
itself is sufficient.

Conduct a number of grinding steps
with increasingly finer grains.
The equipment is particulary suitable for
work on corners and edges witch are
difficult to reach (fig. 5+6). You may also
use the point or an edge of the sanding
plate when sanding profiles and concave
fillets.
Dust removal
Dust collection takes place at the
dust-aspirator connection with
the dustexhausting equipment. If
necessary, use the vacuum cleaner
adapter (Fig. 7). Inhalation of grinding
dust is dangerous to your health.
Always work with deduster switched on.
10 – Maintenance and
environmental
protection
From time to time, clean dust exhaust
openings (3) with a dry brush. Clean the
housing only with a damp cloth - do not
use any solvents! Dry thoroughly
afterwards.
CAUTION! Electrical and battery
operated units that no longer work
should not be disposed of in the
household waste! They are to be
collected separately, in accordance with
the 2002/96 EC directive for
the disposal of electrical
and electronic waste, and
sent for proper and
environmentally-friendly
recycling.
Please discard power tools no longer
usable at a local collection point.
