Turn the power on (POWER ON). The upper LED-row shows the test run,
when "Auto mode" is activated and LED Pin 1 is on, if "Manually" is
selected.

If the connectors of the two cable ends are connected correctly, the LEDs
in the bottom row corresponding to the top row.
Note that the middle pin of the BNC is displayed as LED 2. As the coaxial cable
has only 2 wires, please use the manual test procedure!
REMOTE Test
1.
Connect an RJ45 cable to the transmitting end and plug the other end into
the receiver connector.
2.
If the tested cable is installed in a panel or wall plate, you may use the
included patch cable to connect the "REMOTE" Terminator.
3.
Turn the power on (POWER ON). The upper LED-row shows the test run,
when "Auto mode" is activated and LED Pin 1 is on, if "Manually" is
selected.
4.
If the connectors of the two cable ends are connected correctly, the LEDs
on the remote device according to the upper range of the main unit.
HOLD Function
If the reading could not be read during measurement due to difficult operation
the „HOLD"-button could be pressed to freeze the display reading. Press the
„HOLD"-button to freeze the display reading. The display shows the
„HOLD"-symbol to indicate the activated HOLD function. Press the
„HOLD"-button again to return to standard operation.
MAXFunction
1.
Press the „MAX"-button to record and display the maximum value of
long-term measurements.
2.
To deactivate this function press and hold MAX
