W W A A R R N N I I N N G G - - Always apply the brakes when a patient is getting on the product or off the product or when the product is not
moving. Push on the product to make sure that the brakes are locked. Injury could result if the product moves while a
patient is getting on the product or off the product.
To apply the brakes, push down on the brake/steer pedal (A) (Figure 1). Push on the product to make sure that the brakes
work.
To release the brakes, push up on the brake/steer pedal (B).
To put the brake/steer pedal in the neutral position, put the brake/steer pedal (C) straight.

To raise the litter, press down on the pump pedal (C) (Figure 2).
To lower the head end, push down on the hydraulic release pedal (B) at either end of the product.
To lower the foot end, push down on the hydraulic release pedal (A) at either end of the product.
To lower the entire litter, push down on both hydraulic release pedals (A and B) together.
