The manufacturer is not liable for damages
resulting from:
• incorrect use and / or improper use of the
machine;
• repairs performed by unauthorized Service
Centers;
• tampering with the power cord;
• tampering with any part of the machine;
• use of non-genuine spare parts and acces-
sories;
• no water softening;
• storage at a room temperature of less than
39.2°F (4°C);
• using the machine at a temperature of less
than 41°F (5°C);
• using the machine at a temperature of
more than 104°F (40°C);
• using non-compatible capsules.
• use the machine with more than 45 supplies
(on average) per day.
In any of the above cases, the warranty will be
null and void.

ELECTRIC CONNECTION

Set the machine on a flat, stable surface, far
away from water or heat sources. Do not
connect the machine to the mains supply.
Damage caused by failure to apply these in-
structions will void the guarantee.
Turn the machine sideways, on one of the sides.
Plug the power cord into the socket located un-
der the machine and place the cable in the ap-
propriate guide.
Insert the plug into the socket.

PREPARING THE MACHINE

WATER CONNECTION

The machine will be directly connected to the
main waterwork.
Fit the water tube into the connection on the
machine rear.
Use the Lavazza water tube only:
Spare part n. 10070880.
This machine has been designed to manage
the local water pressure, i.e.:
15 psi (1 bar) to 116 psi (8 bar), maximum
temperature: 80°F (27°C).
Contact a qualified plumber to have the wa-
ter connection installed.
The water tube connected to the sink shall
be equipped with a reinforcement braid and
shall also be designed to withstand a pres-
sure of at least 200 psig (13.8 bar).
The hydraulic connectors shall be certified to
withstand a pressure of 200 psig (13.8 bar).
