USING THE ROTATING BEZEL
Your Argonaut has a internal rotating bezel which can be used to keep track
of elapsed time. For example, if the time on your watch reads 12:20, align the
triangle on the bezel with the minute hand. Now, say the time is 12:40, the
minute hand position will point towards 20 on the bezel, indicating that 20
minutes of time has elapsed.
CHRONOMETER TESTING
Your Bremont watch is chronometer tested to ISO 3159 standard and
accompanied by a performance certificate to show that the mechanical
movement has passed all of the rigorous precision tests - a necessity of
the chronometer designation.
The chronometer testing, which takes 15 days to complete over several
different temperature ranges and watch positions, means that the average
daily variation rate will be between -4 and +6 seconds. With 86,400
seconds in a single day, this gives Bremont' s watches an accuracy of
99.998%.
Remember to complete and return the registration card to Bremont to
register your watch and validate your warranty.
