Loosening the quick-clamping nut
Attention!
Only when the quick-clamping nut [10] is
¾
fitted may the spindle be stopped using the red
spindle locking knob [16]!
▸
The machine runs on after switching off. Just before
the abrasive wheel comes to a standstill, press the
red spindle locking knob [16].
The quick-clamping nut [10] is loosened auto-

matically by approx. half a turn and can then be
unscrewed without additional force or tools.
Operation
Setting the spindle speed (depending
on configuration)

Set the recommended spindle speed at adjustment
wheel [2].
— (Small number = low speed; large number = high
speed)
• Cutting and roughing wheel, grinding brush, dia-
mond cut-off wheel: high speed
• Brush: medium speed
• Grinding disc: low to medium speed

Machines with trigger switch
Switch ON

Push the trigger switch [1] forwards.
• For continuous operation, then press downwards
until it engages.
Switch OFF
▸
Press the rear end of the trigger switch [1] and
release.
Machines with dead man function
Switch ON
▸
Push the switch-on inhibitor [4] in the direction of
the arrow and press trigger switch [3].
Switch OFF
▸
Release trigger switch [3].
Working instructions
Grinding
▸
Apply moderate pressure with the machine and
move back and forth across the surface so that the
workpiece surface does not become too hot.
Roughing
▸
A good working result is obtained with a working
angle of 30° - 40°.
Cut-off grinding
Attention!
Always work up-milling mode during cut-off
¾
grinding!
Otherwise there is a risk of the machine jumping
Â
uncontrolled out of the cut.
▸
Work with moderate feed adapted to the material
being cut. Do not tilt, press or oscillate.
Sanding
▸
Apply moderate pressure with the machine and
move back and forth across the surface so that the
workpiece surface does not become too hot.
Working with wire brushes
▸
Apply moderate pressure with the machine.
