8. CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent
resetting of the thermal cutout, this appliance must not
be supplied through an external switching device, such
as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly
switched on and off by the utility.
9. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
10. WARNING: This heater is not equipped with a device to
control the room temperature. Do not use this heater in
small rooms when they are occupied by persons not
capable of leaving the room on their own, unless
constant supervision is provided.
11. The heater must not be mounted less than 1800mm
above the floor.
12. This appliance is intended to be used in household and
similar applications.
13. Check that the voltage on the rating label is the same as
in your home.
14. Use the quartz heater only for 220-240volts AC,
50/60Hz.
15. Do not position the quartz heater below a power outlet.
16. Keep the switch of the quartz heater away from persons
in bathrooms or showers.
17. Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of
a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
18. Keep away the heater from inflammable materials such
as carpets, curtains, plastics etc. and keep a distance of
at least 150 cm between the front grid and flammable
subjects in the radiation area.
19. The pull switch only works by pulling it downwards
vertically.
20. Cool down the quartz heater and wipe it dry only when
it is cold. Do not touch the quartz tubes with the fingers.
21. The heater warms up strongly during longer operation–
therefore, do not touch the front grid.
