Drying
Only use filtered air for drying.

Inspection and Function Testing
1.
Inspect the product for dirt. Clean and disinfect contaminated products
again.
2.
Inspect the products for damage (e.g., damaged surfaces, deformations,
other mechanical damage). Separate damaged products.
3.
Maintain the threads and sliding surfaces with instrument oil (instrument
oil suitable for sterilization procedure: silicone-free, based on paraffin or
white oil).
4.
Perform a functional check.

Packaging
Packaging requirements:
• Adequate protection of the product and the sterilization packaging from
mechanical damage
• Adequate packaging size (tension-free sealing)
• Sterilization containers: Regular maintenance according to the manufacturer's
specifications
• Suitable for steam sterilization (temperature resistant up to at least 137 °C ,
adequate steam permeability)
Only use standardized and certified packaging systems (EN 868 Part 2- 10, EN
ISO 11607 Part 1 + 2, DIN 58953).
