PLASMA CONSOLE.
The Plasma Console PW Console art. 476.50 does not work independently, but must be connected to the
other system equipments.
The Plasma Console is a direct current Power Source, developed with inverter technology, designed to
strike the pilot arc is a plasma welding torch.
The arc strikes with the aid of high voltage and high frequency generated by internal circuits.
The equipments may be used only for the purposes described in the present manual.
4.1
Commands and fittings.
A Fluxmeter regulation knob. Regulates the protection gas flow, from 1.5 to 15 liters per minute. The
value is indicated by the fluxmeter.
B Fluxmeter regulation knob. Regulates the plasma gas flow, from 0.3 to 3 liters per minute. The value
is indicated by the fluxmeter.
C Led. When lit, indicates the lack of the protection gas. The Power Source is blocked. The reset
happens automatically with the gas flow reactivation.
D Led. When lit, indicates the lack of the plasma gas. The Power Source is blocked. The reset happens
automatically with the gas flow reactivation.
E Led. When lit, indicates the lack of the cooling liquid flow. The Power Source is blocked. The reset
happens automatically with the gas flow reactivation.

F Knob. Adjusts the pre-gas time of the plasma gas. The time may vary up to 1 second.
G Knob. Adjusts the pilot arc current. The current may be adjusted from 1 A to 15 A.
H Knob. Adjusts the post-gas time of both plasma gas and protection gas. The time may be adjusted up
to 20 seconds.
I Switch. Turns the pilot arc off and on.
L Selector. Tests the protection gas. The flow is adjusted using the knob of the flowmeter A.
M Selector. Tests the plasma gas. The flow is adjusted using the knob of the flowmeter B.
