Maintenance: Post-Motor Filter

Located on the front near the height
adjustment knob, remove filter door by
pressing and pulling latch downward.

Replace filter in unit with
handle facing you. Replace
the door by hooking the
bottom into the grooves
and rotate towards unit,
snapping into place.
WARNING
Do not operate vacuum with damp or wet filters, as well as without filters or the Dirt
Container in place. Allow components to dry before reassembling the Dirt Container.
Maintenance: Floor Brush Roll

Ensure vacuum is unplugged.
Place handle in low position,
remove hose from foot and
turn vacuum over bottom side
up. Remove the 7 screws and
rotate unit back to front.
NOTE: For ease of screw removal and replacement, use a magnetic Phillips screwdriver.

With hose removed, lift
top cover straight up
and set aside. Grasp
rotating floor brush at
both ends and lift up
and away to remove.
Remove the filter
by grasping the
handle on the front
of the filter and
pulling out from
vacuum. Clean,
wash, or replace
filter, as necessary.
NOTE: The filter can be
washed in warm water
with mild detergent. Allow
it to air dry completely
before replacing. If the
filter is damaged, replace.

Clean debris from rotating
floor brush, motor
pulley, drive belt and air
passageway areas.
