5.26 Manual fan
1.
Precondition: the hob is switched on. Select the fan power
setting display (as a key).
2.
Select the desired fan speed using the slider area (sensor
field) from 0 to P.
Note
To switch off the fan, select fan power setting display, then
touch level 0 on the slider control.
5.27 Automatic fan
It is possible to let the fan run automatically: fan speed is
automatically regulated depending on cooking zones
power levels.
1. Precondition: the hob is switched on. Press and hold fan
power setting display for 3 seconds.
2. Automatic mode is activated. "A" is displayed on selected
key and the fan reacts according to automatic profile.
Notes
An increasing of cooking zones power will cause an
automatic increase of fan speed.
A decreasing of cooking zones power will cause an
automatic decrease of fan speed
To deactivate automatic fan, press fan power setting
display and select the desired fan speed from the slider
area. Manual mode is activated and the active level is
displayed.
The actual steam generation is delayed. When changing
the cooking level, the automatic fan level follows generally
after 20 sec delay.
5.28 Fan after - run
The system has a follow- up / after- run function, which should
ensure that any existing odours and steam can be extracted.
After completing the cooking process and switching off the hob,
the fan continues to run.
There is an automatic after- run of 5 minutes on level 1.
Notes
The fan after- run is indicated by a pulsating dot in the fan
power setting display.
