INSTALLATION WITH LOCKING CLIP
If a locking clip is needed for installation in your
vehicle, contact Hauck Consumer services at
1-877-428-2545
www.hauckusa.com.
To install locking clip:
• Install carrier and tighten vehicle lap/shoulder
belt.
• Hold vehicle seat belts together at latch plate
and unbuckle.
• While holding belts togther, slide locking clip
on seat belts approximately 1/2 inch (1 cm)
away from latch plate.
• Re-buckle seat belt.
• Retest for secure installation and that lap belt
stays tight.
Check that the carrier is securely installed and
the vehicle belt stays securely adjusted around
the carrier. Carrier should not move more than 1
inch (25 mm) side to side at the vehicle belt path.
