Step 7: Take out the tank and add pure water in, then
insert in original position. Put the appliance to the built-in
cabinet, connect the plug to the supply and turn on main
switch (A5). You can now start to use this machine.
Fix the power cable with the clip to avoid it tangling when
the appliance is inserted or extracted. The power cable
must be long enough to allow the appliance to be
extracted from the cabinet to fill the coffee beans
container.
The appliance must be earthed in compliance with
legislation. Electrical connections must be performed by a
qualified electrician in compliance with the manufacturer's
instructions and legislation in force.

USING THE APPLIANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME

The machine has been tested in factory therefore it is

completely normal for there to be traces of coffee in the
mill.
You should set water hardness as soon as possible

following the instructions in the "Setting water hardness"
chapter. Connect the appliance to the mains electricity
supply and turn on the main switch (A5).
Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the appliance. The
machine will display "SELF-CHECK", and then display
"HEATING". Wait for some time, the coffee maker will
automatically start "RINSING". When rinse program finish,
the machine will display "READY". When it reaches this
state, that means all functions can be done.
