MAKING ESPRESSO WITH PRE-
GROUND COFFEE (INSTEAD OF
BEANS)
When the appliance displays "READY",
press Enter then it will state "USE
POWDER". You can then extract the
appliance and press Enter.
"FILL POWDER"
Open the coffee powder cap and use a
spoon to fill coffee powder. You will be
able to then make any type of coffee
by selecting the desired function.
When using coffee powder, you can also
change the settings for output coffee
volume and
the same steps as you would with coffee
beans.
NOTE 1: Never introduce pre-ground coffee when the
machine is off or before pressing the button, to avoid the
coffee spreading through the inside of the appliance.
NOTE 2: Never add more than 1 level measure, otherwise the
appliance will not make the coffee and the pre-ground
coffee will be dispersed inside the appliance, dirtying it; or
the coffee will be delivered a drop at a time.
NOTE 3: Use the measuring spoon provided to add the right
amount of coffee.
NOTE 4: Introduce only pre-ground coffee for espresso coffee
machines into the funnel. Never fill with coffee beans, freeze
dried coffee or other substance that could damage the
appliance.
NOTE 5: lf more than one measure of pre-ground coffee is
used and the funnel clogs, push the coffee down with a
knife, then remove and clean the infuser and machine as
described in the "Cleaning the infuser" chapter.
