USE
Before plugging in your appliance, always make sure that the oil is at
•
least at the minimum marking on the inside of the enameled tank.
Failure to fill the tank with oil, to at least the minimum, will result in
overheating and triggering the safety thermostat (see below for
details). Your fryer will hold 2.5L / 2.7qt of oil at the minimum oil mark
and 4.2L / 4.4 qt. of oil at the maximum mark.
Attach the magnetic cord to the appliance and plug it into the
•
electric wall outlet. The digital display will light up with several red
bars.
Press the "Select" button (4) and the temperature setting will appear
•
on the display. Use the "+" or "-" buttons (5)to increase or decrease
the temperature to the desired setting. Press the "Select" button (4)
again and the time setting will appear on the display. Use the "+" or
"-" buttons (5)to increase or decrease the time to the desired setting.
Note: When preheating, we suggest you set the initial time to 30 minutes.
Press the "On/Off" button (8) to turn the unit on.

The digital display will show the time counting down and the
•
Power/Ready light (7) will be red. When the oil reaches the desired
temperature, it will turn green.
Note: the Power/Ready light (7) will cycle from green to red as the
thermostats cycles to maintain the correct oil temperature.
Allow the oil to come to temperature before placing any food in the
•
oil.
Place the food in the fry basket(s). Do not overload the basket to
•
avoid lowering the temperature of the oil too much. Also
overloading can cause a boil over. As a rule, do not fill the fry basket
more than ½ full, or 1 ½" to 2" from the bottom of the basket.
Once the oil is at the correct temperature and the Power / ready
•
light is green, slowly lower the fry basket(s) into the oil.
Now, set the frying time as needed by pressing again twice on the
•
"Select" button (4), and then adjusting the desired time using the "+"
and "-" buttons (5).
You can place the lid on the unit during cooking, or leave it off.
•
Note: Do not put the lid on the deep fryer when frying French fries or
high moisture foods.
Copies of the I/B. Please reproduce them without any

height). When folding, make sure you keep the good
