Cooking Tips
• Baking: Use the oven without the weight menu to get the most crispy finishes, we recommend you to preheat the cup a
few minutes to improve the outcome.
• Preheat the griddle: for best results of the recipes in the griddle menu preheat your programmable pot in the griddle
menu in order to get the best browning. In this case, to make grilled steaks it is recommended to mark them on one side
when the griddle is hot and immediately turn it over and set the time of the recipe.
• Preheat oil: When frying or stir-frying, we should preheat the oil in the griddle menu for 1 minute to warm it before adding
the remaining ingredients.
• Open before time: The programmable pot can always be open with no pressure inside therefore once finished turn the
weight in exhaust position until the steam is ejected, then you can try to open your programmable pot fear of pressure,
you will be able to open your programmable pot once it is safe to do it.
• Browning baked food: it is recommended for extra crispy in your recipes, you smear with lard, butter or oil the ingredients
that are to be baked require to be crispy.
• Flatten omelets: to achieve a flat omelet on both sides, always remove the excess oil before adding the beaten eggs to
get the best result.
• Pasta: To cook it evenly it is essential that all the pasta is submerged in liquid and wet, be it water, broth, tomato, cream...
So if you are cooking spaghetti it is recommended that cut them so that they are soaking.
• Rice: rice needs the quantities of liquid marked in the recipe book for best results. If you incorporate more water it can be
overdone, and it you put less water it will be hard, therefore, note that for dry rice you will incorporate a measure of rice
and a quarter of water, for mellow rice mellow 2 measures of water every measure of rice and for rice stews 4 of water
for each of rice.
• Before starting the cooking cycle, you should always stir the food, so the recipes are cooked properly. It is crucial to get a
good finish on your dishes.
In case you detect a malfunction of the Programmable Cooker, check the following situations and error codes:
• If you occasionally do not cook or take a long time to cook. Check if the power has gone out and if it is plugged in.
• If you cannot close the lid, put the cuvette on correctly and try to close the lid correctly again.
• If you hear noises while cooking, check for substances between the pan and the resistance.
