• Hold the quick release lever in this position, reattach the nut to the end of the axle and tighten the
nut BY HAND in a clockwise direction until it is as tight as you can get it. (11)
• Look on the inside of both forks to check if there is a gap between the fork and the nut that is on
the axle. (12) If there is any gap, hold the nut on the end of the axle and rotate the quick release
lever clockwise until the gap is eliminated on BOTH forks.
NOTE: You may have to wiggle the wheel a little bit to completely close any gaps.
IMPORTANT: The quick release lever should now still be in the open position, and it should be
aligned with the fork but pointing directly away it. (13) If it is not in this position, let go of the nut
on the end of the axle and rotate the quick release lever clockwise until it gets into this position.
• Ensure that NO GAP exists between the forks and the inside nut on the axle. (14) If there IS still a
gap, then rotate the quick release lever clockwise one full turn and check the gap. Keep turning
additional FULL turns until the gap is eliminated.
• Push the quick release lever to the closed (locked) position, ensuring that it is aligned with the fork.
(15)
NOTE: It may take some force to push the lever into its closed (locked) position. HOWEVER, you
should not need to wrap your fingers around the fork frame in order to close the lever.
• If it is very easy to push the lever into the closed (locked) position, then open the lever and turn
it clockwise one full turn. Then push it to the closed (locked) position. Continue to repeat this
process until the lever can be closed with force.
• If you find that after repeating this process, the lever is too difficult to close, then loosen the lever
counterclockwise one full turn and try to tighten the nut on the end of the axle about a quarter of a
full turn. You may need to use a wrench to tighten this nut.
• Then repeat the process of closing the lever until it does take some force to close it.
• Ensure that the wheel spins freely on its axle.
• Should you ever need to remove the front wheel from the forks, rotate the quick release lever to
the open (unlocked) position, hold the nut on the end of the axle, rotate the lever counterclocwise
to loosen it from the nut and be able to remove the axle. Slide the wheel off the frame forks and
then replace the axle and nut onto the wheel so these parts are not misplaced.
Stroller Operation
Front Wheel Swivel Lock
The stroller can be operated with the front wheel in either swivel mode or locked mode.
• To put the front wheel into locked mode, locate the plastic locking lever just above the front wheel.
• Push this lever to the right (clockwise) and rotate the wheel until it locks automatically in the
straight position and an audible click is heard. (16)
• To unlock the front wheel and use it in swivel mode, push the lever to the left (counter clockwise)
until an audible click is heard.
Rear Wheel Brakes
Always engage rear wheel brakes before placing a child in or removing a child from the stroller.
• To engage, push down on the brake lever on either side. (17)
• To release, push down on the back of the brake lever on either side. (18)
NOTE: Gently push the stroller back and forth to ensure the brake is fully engaged.
I WARNING:
engaged when the stroller is not being pushed so that the stroller will not
