Note:
To ensure IP66 type of protection,
• use a seal between the cover and the housing.
After having established the AC voltage connection,
• close the cover of the AC voltage connection section,
screw the cover in place.
could void your warranty!
Risk of death by high alternating voltage!
⇒ Turn off the line voltage (AC side) (fuse) before connecting the inverter.
⇒ Only connect the inverter to TN or TT networks (see IEC 60364-1) having
a voltage of 230 V.
Risk of death by high direct current voltage!
⇒ Check whether voltage is applied to the generator-side d.c. voltage con-
nection before connecting the inverter.
⇒ Check the voltage for proper polarity before connecting the inverter.
⇒ If voltage is applied, wear protective clothing and a face mask.
⇒ DC cables may only be removed while the inverter is out of operation.
Inadequate cables result in improper functioning!
⇒ Ensure that line cross-sections and protections comply with VDE 100
Part 430.
⇒ Ensure that the length of power supply cables between two inverter does
not exceed 30 m.
⇒ DC lines require a minimum cross-section of 2.5 mm².
⇒ Ensure that the maximum resistance of the power supply cable of 0.5Ω is
not exceeded.
Material damage by high voltage!
⇒ Ensure that the maximum direct current voltage is not exceeded (see
Chapter 5, Technical Data).
⇒ Only apply safety extra-low voltage to the contact of the signalling device.
⇒ Never connect the inverter across two phases.
