4. TROUBLESHOOTING
NEVER open the compressor to inspect it, replace
components or adjust it alone; the rewinding
mechanism could exit its compartment and cause
damage and injuries to people, and property for which
the manufacturer is not considered responsible.
Air losses:
These can be caused by poor tightness of a union.
Check the efficiency of the joint (quick coupling) and
that the hose is not damaged.
Compressor turns but does not load:
It may be due to failure of the valves or a seal:
please contact the nearest service centre.
If the compressor has trouble
following :
Does mains power match that of the data-plate?
Are power cable extensions of adequate diameter or
length?
Is the work environment too cold? (under 0°C)
Was the thermal-breaker tripped? (see 2.4)
Is power supplied to the electrical line? (sockets well
connected,
thermal- breaker, fuses in good condition)
