2.2. Inversion of polarity
If the polarity is not right, the buzzer will give a signal:
□ if the remaining voltage, in the batteries of the vehicle, is at least 4 volts
□ if the voltage selector is not connected
2.3. Vehicle 24V - Detection of the 24V
Detection of 24 volt on a vehicle where the cables are not visible or when the batteries are located on
both sides of the engine bay (Caterpillar, Volvo and others large type engines).
Use a voltmeter in position DC: connect the negative to the mass of the vehicle and the
positive to the positive of a battery.
□ If the voltmeter indicates 12V, you are not on the right battery.
