Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances, including
the following.
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR JUICE EXTRACTOR.
2. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts,
and before cleaning.
3. Avoid contact with moving parts.
4. DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug,, or after the
appliance malfunctions, or if it is dropped or damaged in any manner. Take it to
the nearest authorized Oster
or mechanical adjustment.
5. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may
cause fire, electric shock or injury.
6. DO NOT let cord hang over edge of table or counter.
7. Make sure hopper is securely fastened in place before turning on motor. DO NOT
unfasten hopper while juicer is in operation.
8. Be sure to turn switch to off position "O" after each use of your juicer. Make sure
the motor stops completely before disassembling.
9. DO NOT put your fingers or other objects into the juicer while it is in operation.
If food becomes lodged in the opening, use a food plunger or piece of fruit or
vegetable to push it down. If this method does not work, turn off the motor and
disassemble the juicer to remove the remaining food.
10. DO NOT use outdoors.
11. DO NOT place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
12. DO NOT use this appliance for any other than its intended use.
13. DO NOT plug or unplug your juicer with wet hands, as this may cause electric
shock or injury.
14. Always plug unit into the appropriate electrical outlet, as described on the
rating label.
15. Plug in the power cord correctly and completely push it into the wall socket.
Failure to do so may cause electric shock or fire.
16. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a
qualified technician at an authorized Oster
hazard. A damaged power cord can cause electric shock or fire.
17. NEVER alter the appliance. DO NOT attempt to disassemble or repair it yourself.
Do not insert your fingers or other objects such as pins into gaps or holes in the
base. This may cause a fire, electric shock or damage to your unit. For technical

18. DO NOT get motor base wet or let water splash on it. Be careful not to let liquids
or other substances get into the switch.
19. DO NOT operate the switch with wet hands. It may cause electric shock or fire.
20. DO NOT operate if the power cord is damaged or the plug is loose. This may
cause electric shock or fire.
21. DO NOT USE CONTINUOUSLY FOR MORE THAN 5 MINUTES. This could
overheat the motor, causing the appliance to malfunction. During heavier use,
stop appliance every 5 minutes and let it cool down completely before continuing.
