Fault:
● Warning display (4) lights up continuously.
Battery pack is not charged. Temperature too high/ too low. When the temperature of the battery
pack is between 0 °C and 50 °C / 32° - 122° F, the charging process begins automatically.
● Warning display (4) flashes.
Battery pack is defective. Remove the battery pack immediately from the charger.
The battery pack was not pushed correctly onto the sliding seat (2).

Care and Maintenance
R600 VarioClean:
Always remove the battery before starting any work on the machine!
Use universal grease to lubricate the machine's 2 lubricating points.
Lubricating point 1: daily or after it has been used.
Lubricating point 2: every 100 operating hours; you will have to unscrew the left cover to
do this.
The device should be handled carefully and cleaned regularly.
The spirals and tools should be cleaned and preserved after every use. We recommend using
our "ROWONAL" special care product.
All of the servicing, maintaining and repair work is only be undertaken by instructed
specialist personnel!
Charger:
Repairs to the charger must only be carried out by qualified electricians.
If the mains connection cable of this tool is damaged, in order to prevent endangering personnel
and property it must be replaced by the manufacturer, or the Customer Service of the manufac-
turer, or a similarly qualified person.

Replacing the clamping jaws
If the spiral stops rotating during operation and starts to slip, this means that the clamping jaws
are fouled with grease and they must be cleaned or else they are worn and must be replaced.
Unscrew the right cover
Remove the sealing plug. Release the locking nut and turn back the adjusting screw until the
clamping jaw springs relax.
Pull the hand lever upwards and hold it there, now remove the clamping jaws by pressing
them together.
Fit the new clamping jaws.
Retighten the adjusting screw until the maximum spiral diameter can still be pushed through.
Retighten the locking nut and refit the sealing plug.
Reattach the cover.
