Comb attachment

– Image B: switch off the trimmer and push the comb attachment 11 onto the
cutter head 5 until it clicks into place.
– You can then cut hair with the trimmer as usual.
– Image C: the comb attachment 11 can be set to 4 different cutting lengths
(approx. 3 to 6 mm). To do this, push it to the desired position on the cutter
head 5.
The further the comb attachment 11 is pushed inwards, the shorter the cutting
length.

Cleaning and care

To ensure perfect functioning and full performance of your trimmer, clean and oil
the appliance regularly.
Cleaning and oiling the cutter head
If you use the appliance regularly, the cutter head 5 should be thoroughly
cleaned and oiled once a day.
– Switch off the appliance.
– Remove the comb attachment 11, if necessary.
– Remove any hair using the cleaning brush 13.
– Image D: oil the areas where the bottom and top cutting blades touch.
Removing the cutter head
The cutter head 5 should additionally be removed at regular intervals, in order
to carefully remove residual hair particles from the interior using the cleaning
brush 13.
– Ensure that the on/off switch 4 is set to 0.

– Removing: image E: press on the top of the cutter head 5 with your thumb to
push it off the appliance.
– Mounting: place the cutter head 5 on at the bottom and swing it upwards
until it clicks into place.
Replacing the cutter head
The cutter head 5 is a wear part. Despite good care, the cutting performance will
decrease at some point. Replace the cutter head when this happens. The cutter
head can be ordered separately as a spare part from the customer service cen-
tre. The address and telephone number of your nearest customer service centre
can be found on the back of these user instructions.
Cleaning the appliance
– From time to time, wipe the appliance with a slightly moistened cloth, then rub
dry.
Cleaning the charge contacts
If the charge contacts 6 on the appliance or the charge contacts 1 on the charg-
ing station 2 are dirty, the charging may be interrupted or obstructed.
– Clean the charge contacts 6 with a piece of cotton wool or cloth dipped in
alcohol or methylated spirit.
Care of the battery
– Ensure that the appliance is not left on when putting it aside, if the battery is
empty.
– Ensure that the appliance is switched off (on/off switch is set to 0) when plac-
ing it in the charging station 2.
