INSTALLATION AND START UP
Only skilled personnel should install the unit.
All connections must be carried out in compliance with current standards and in full observance of current safety laws.
Before switching on the power source, make sure that the 2 welding torch water pipes are connected to the 2 fittings
(P) on the cooling unit, that the mains voltage matches that indicated on the specifications plate, and that the earth
connection is in good working order.
The cooling unit is supplied with approx. 4 litres of coolant.
To fill the tank completely, unscrew the cap (Q) and top up the fluid.
It is important to ensure that the cooling unit is always turned off when introducing the fluid and connecting
or disconnecting the pipes.
To switch on the cooling unit, carefully read the instructions for power source Item No 559.
Check for leaks and ensure that the fluid level is near the MAX level.
For maximum performance, it is important to keep the tank constantly topped up during use. The fluid level can be
inspected using the slot (R).
The coolant to be used is: CEBORA "ITACA GP73190-BIO".
This compound is used not only to keep the coolant fluid at low temperatures but also to prevent limescale deposits
due to hard water, which would affect system durability and in particular the proper operation of pump and welding
torch. This fluid also maintains low electrical conductivity inside the circuit, to avoid electrical discharge
effects.
