AFTER CONNECTING TO THE COMPRESSOR:
• gradually increase the air supply to make sure it works properly; do not use the
maximum pressure,
• the work area should allow immediate access to the compressed air shut-off
valve.
3.3. Working with the unit
1. Locate and clean the dent area.
2. Select the appropriate tool for the job:
a) inertia hammer:
• select the appropriate hook to push out the dent,
• screw the selected hook onto the tip of the inertia hammer,
• apply the hook to the convex side of the dent,
• move the extraction spring to push out the dent;
b) pneumatic inertia hammer:
• select and apply suction cup to tool tip,
• connect tool to compressor with connector behind valve:
• apply the tool to the concave side of the dent,
• start the compressor,
• unscrew the valve at the end of the tool,
• make pulsating suction movements to pull out the dent,
• when finished, close the valve, turn off the compressor and disconnect the tool
from the compressor;
c)
slip hammer for the spotter:
• connect the welding gun to the welder,
• install the tip of the tool in the holder of the welding gun,
