Never use the gun in the vicinity of or in potentially explosive atmospheres (standard 94/9/EC Atex).
Never use solvents and/or detergents with a halogenated hydrocarbon base (Methyl chloride, Dichloromethane,
1.2-Dichloroethane, Carbon tetrachloride, Trichloroethylene, 1.1.1-Trichloroethane) on aluminium and/or galvanised
components of the gun, as these may cause chemical reactions such as oxidation, and in more extreme cases could lead to
explosive reactions. For cleaning, use exclusively diluent and detergent substances that do not contain the components listed
above. In the same case, never use strong acid or alkaline base solutions for these procedures.
This symbol draws your attention to safety related issues.
Read carefully the recommendations included and strictly comply with them.
Before using the gun, ensure you have read and fully observe all instructions for use.
Before any repair or maintenance operations, disconnect the gun from the air supply.
When choosing the spray product and before using the gun, check the product compatibility with the work environment
and the adopted personal protective equipment, according to the relative safety data sheet.
In the event of pauses during work, always keep the cartridge inserted in the gun to ensure airtight closure; otherwise clean the
gun according to the relative instructions.
Never turn the gun spray towards yourself, other people, animals or objects, other than the object undergoing treatment.
During use, always wear the speci ed personal protective clothing and equipment (gloves, goggles, mask, overalls etc.)
according to the instructions in the safety data sheet of the product used. In any event, the use of protection goggles is always
recommended.
Hang the gun up on the relative hook when not used.
3 - INTENDED AND FORBIDDEN USES
Intended use
• Use the machine only after have read and learnt the related instruction's manual and the technical and safety les of products to
be extruded/sprayed out and the suitable working space.
• Spraying and extrusion of sealing products, polymer and polyurethane base cartridges (Ms polymer), protective and
sound-proo ng products in special cartridges
• Work in environments suitable for the speci c products
• Use exclusively products suitable for the intended type of spray (MS-Polymer).
Reasonably expected incorrect uses
• Spray or extrusion of unspeci ed, di erent or forbidden products
• Do not use IPDs (Individual Protection Devices) during the useForbidden use
• Exclusion of any speci c product, other than those listed above
• Spray or extrusion of unspeci ed, di erent or forbidden products
• Do not use IPDs (Individual Protection Devices) during the use
• Work in potentially explosive atmospheres and/or use of products generating potentially explosive atmospheres
• Use of hydrogenated hydrocarbons as detergent liquids (see warnings)
• Use of the gun without rst reading and understanding the contents of this manual and, on each change of material, the relative
technical and safety data sheets of the products to be used
• Modi cations of any kind to the gun or any of its parts
• Continued use of the device after nding faults or malfunctions on the gun or system
• Use of the gun at ambient temperatures outside the admissible range, as speci ed in this manual or in the relative data sheets of
the products to be used.
