► Stop the engine.
► Allow the tiller to cool down.
► Attach the front wheel.
► If the tiller is wet: allow the tiller to dry.
► Clean the tiller.
► Clean the hoes.
13 Transporting

Transporting the Tiller
► Stop the engine.
► If the tiller is being transported using the front
wheel:
► Attach the front wheel.
► Hold the tiller by both handles and lift so it is
resting on the front wheel.
► Push or pull the tiller slowly.

► If the tiller is being transported using the run‐
ning wheels:
► Attach the running wheels.
► Attach the front wheel.
► Place hoes (1) on hoe transport adapt‐
ers (2) provided so the bores align.
► Push folding retainers (3) through the bores
and close the securing clips.
► Start the engine.
► Engage self-propulsion.
► Guide the tiller forwards slowly and in a con‐
trolled manner.
► If the tiller is being carried:
► One person holds the front transport handle
using both hands and another person holds
the handles using both hands.
► The tiller must be lifted and carried by two
people.
► Wear work gloves made from resistant
material.
► If the tiller is being transported in a vehicle:
► Secure the tiller so it does not tip over and
cannot move.
