CONTROL PANEL AND OPERATION

1 SENS control (sensitivity)

Set sensitivity (SENS)
The SENS control is also the on/off switch. Turn it counter-clockwise to OFF to
switch off the appliance. Turn it clockwise to switch on the unit and increase
the sensitivity.
Set metal type (DISC)
Turn the DISC control counter-clockwise to the A-M position, the appliance
will now respond to any type of metal. Turn the control clockwise to adjust the
response to specific types of metal. When you turn the knob clockwise, the
unit rejects certain metals according to their conductivity from high to low in
the following order: iron, nickel, can lids, zinc, brass and aluminium.
