11 Switching On

Switching on the sprayer

► Move the rocker switch (1) to position .
LED (2) glow green and a short beep sounds.
The sprayer is operational.
If the switched-on sprayer is not used for more
than 15 minutes, the sprayer switches off auto‐
matically. LED (2) no longer illuminates and a
short beep sounds.
► Move the rocker switch (1) to position and
then again to position .
The sprayer is operational again.

The LED (2) goes off.

Retaining latch and trigger
► Switch off the sprayer and remove the battery.
► Move retaining latch to the
► Try to pull the trigger.
► If the trigger can be pulled: Do not use your
sprayer and contact your STIHL servicing
dealer for assistance.
The retaining latch is faulty.

► If the trigger is stiff or does not spring back to

Testing the Battery
► Press button on battery.
The LEDs glow or flash.
► If the LEDs do not glow or flash: Do not use
the battery and contact your STIHL servicing
dealer.
There is a malfunction in the battery.
13 Using the Sprayer
13.1
Holding and Controlling the
Sprayer
► Carry the sprayer on your back.
► Do not bend over forwards, keep your back
straight.
► Hold the sprayer with one hand on the control
handle - wrap your thumb around the handle.
13.2
Filling the tank

► Switch off the sprayer and remove the battery.
► Place the sprayer on the ground so that it can‐
not tip over.
► Turn the cap (2) counterclockwise until it can
be removed.
