device if you are leaving it unattended or
removing a blockage.

as well as other appropriate personal protec-
tive equipment (safety glasses, ear defenders,
safety gloves etc.) when working with the
trimmer. The wearing of personal protective
equipment minimises the risk of injury. Do not
wear loose clothing, etc., which could be caught
by the cutting tool.
¾ The operator or user is responsible for acci-
dents, injuries to other people or damage to
their property.

¾ Before use, make sure you are familiar with
the trimmer, its functions and operating ele-
ments.
¾ Do not use any trimmer whose switch is de-
fective and which can no longer be switched
on or off. It must be repaired by a qualified
expert or workshop.
