Application

Operatory clinometer
The esthetic angle of the patient's face can be
determined either during the planning phase of
the prosthesis or at any session during the pros-
thetic restoration.
When anterior teeth are to be restored
with crowns or a fixed partial denture, it
is advisable to measure the esthetic
angle of the face prior to tooth prepara-
tion. The operatory clinometer can then
be used to check the alignment of the
incisal edges of the preparations or to
adapt the provisional restoration.
Mounting to the Artex facebow
The operatory clinometer is used together with
the Artex facebow:
▷ Remove the glabella support and the joint sup-
port from the Artex facebow.
