9. Avoid dips in the pipe, which can cause water retention and cause the
pump to become aerated. Avoid overstressing the pipe, which can damage
the pump outlet.
10. Pass the hose through the hull (deck drain) and tighten the clamp in the
designated location.
CAUTION! When drilling holes, do not drill through the hull!
3.3. Connecting the unit
AUTOMATIC OPERATION OF THE UNIT
1. When the brown and white wires are connected to the positive (+) battery
terminal and the black wire to the negative (-) battery terminal, the pump will
operate automatically.
2. When the brown wire is connected to the positive (+) battery terminal and the
black wire to the negative (-) battery terminal, the pump will not operate
automatically.
OPERATING PRINCIPLE
1. When the water level rises approximately 40-50mm from the bottom edge of the
pump base, the float switch will turn on and the pump will operate.
2. When the water level drops to approx. 20-30 mm from the bottom edge of the
pump base, the float switch will stop operating and the pump will stop running.
UNIT WIRING DIAGRAM
Make sure the power source is 12 volts DC. Higher voltage will damage the pump.
1. Using the full length of the supplied wire (and additional wire if needed),
connect the wires to the pump as shown in the diagram (see Figure 2).
