A1.5 BravoMATIC operation
BravoMATIC is an automatic backwashing filter with a dual-action filter cleaning system: cartridge
brushing and backwashing with filtering water. BravoMATIC is equipped with an electronically
controlled automatic cleaning system with timer. This solution ensures optimal cleaning of the filter
cartridge at any time.
During the operating phase the water enters the filter through the inlet fitting and cross the filtering
cartridge from the outside to the inside and leaves the filter through the outlet fitting.
During the backwashing stage, the incoming water is diverted and passes through a backwash filter;
then it enters the turbojet that distributes it uniformly, at high speed, on the entire inner surface of
the cartridge. The automatic opening of the discharge valve ensures the elimination of the dirt
removed during the backwashing.
BravoMATIC is equipped with two voltage-free contacts, which are activated according to an
advance preset by the program with respect to the start of the backwash cycle. This signal advanced
with respect to the backwash cycle can be used for managing auxiliary equipment (e.g. solenoid
valves, pumps, alarms, etc.).
In the event of a power failure, the filter retains the last programmed setting when it is switched on
again. The consumption of water for a wash is of about 14 liters (referred to a 6 bar pressure).
