Connect the male Luer connector of the TRACOE cpm to a calibrated
pressure gauge (accuracy better than 1 cmH
until a pressure of 20 cmH
document the corresponding pressure displayed on the calibrated
pressure gauge. This value should be in the range of 18 to 22 cmH
Repeat this test with a pressure of 30 cmH
corresponding pressure displayed on the calibrated pressure gauge.
This value should be in the range of 28 to 32 cmH
If the pressure values are outside this range, the TRACOE cpm
should be replaced.
Note for conversion to SI-Unit Pascal: 1 cmH

Instruction for Use
The TRACOE cuff pressure monitor is connected directly, or via a
connection tube, to the inflation line of the HVLP cuff by inserting the
TRACOE cpm male Luer connector [L] into the open end of the in-
flation line [M].
A connecting tube is provided which allows the TRACOE cpm to in-
flate or measure the cuff pressure from a distance [K]. The connecting
tube has a female Luer connector at one end and a male Luer con-
nector at the other. The TRACOE cpm male Luer connector is inserted
into the connecting tube female Luer connector and the connecting
tube male Luer connector is then inserted into the female Luer con-
nector of the inflation line [M].
